Why for living in Portugal yo need speaking English and Portugues

Hi, this is the first time that I am writing in English on the blog.

When I left my job in Ecuador for coming to Portugal I thought that only had to learn Portugues for living here, but POOOOOOM!!!!!!!! it is not so.

This country is smaller than other countries in Europe, then:

• Many Enterprise has to expand their business exchange for other countries
• Portugal is part of the European Union for that is necessary to speak one language between countries that is the English. 
• Many people migrate to the United Kingdom and create good relationships between countries
• The government Portugues has a public political that all children learning English from 3 years.
• The movies on television are not translated then the hearing for learning English on people is educated from an early age.   

This and other situations are important for learned to talk in English in Portugal.
